Join hundreds of Dana-Farber teammates in taking on the B.A.A. Half Marathon, the Boston Athletic Association's popular 13.1-mile event. Committed to enhancing their training and race-day experience, members of Dana-Farber's B.A.A. Half team raise funds to support groundbreaking research and extraordinary patient care. Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund is the Presenting Sponsor and Exclusive Charity Partner of the B.A.A. Half Marathon.

Each Team Member receives:

  • A guaranteed race entry
  • A personal fundraising web page
  • A training program designed by 1976 Boston Marathon winner Jack Fultz
  • Expert guidance on fundraising and training
  • A Dana-Farber team singlet
  • Fundraising recognition items earned throughout the season

Each Team Member is required to:

  • Raise the basic fundraising commitment of $750, guaranteed by credit card at the time of registration, and due on Sunday, September 28, 2014. Each team member will be charged for any remaining balance on Monday, September 29.
  • Pay the registration fee of $100, which includes the B.A.A.'s $75 race entry fee and Dana-Farber's $25 team fee. The registration fee is non-refundable, non-transferable, and does not count towards the basic fundraising commitment.

Registration Options:

  • Register as an Individual
  • Register as a member of a Fundraising Group*
    • Step 1: Gather friends and family who share your interest in running and your personal commitment towards conquering cancer.
    • Step 2: Designate a "Group Captain" to register using the "Start a Fundraising Group" option.
    • Step 3: Have each additional group member register using the "Join a Fundraising Group" option.
      *Each team member registering with a fundraising group must meet the same basic fundraising commitment as team members registering as individuals.
